8N08 completed!

I found this exercise to be fun and actually it gave me an excuse to get onto my facebook account. I have neglected to use it because it just isn't the way I prefer to stay in touch, but after living in China, many of the people I have met love to use it.

I think it is disturbing that people can do such specific searches for people-and who would put information like their body type out there-whatever!

This was fun, but I am glad to be done with these exercises. I got alot out of it, but a break is needed!

Exercise 7

I completed exercise 7 of 8N08. Wikis are something I have looked at before. I likes theuncyclopedia-very humorous. They had something about A-levels which are courses taken by British 16-18 yr. olds. Okay. Who has the time to do this stuff?
I couldn't get the ala wiki to come up. I checked out some advice on dog training on wikihow.

Exploring eMedia collection on Clevnet finally made me sit down and take the time to learn about it since it was required. I checked out You: The owner's manual Updated and Expanded Edition.

Exercise 4 8N08 complete

I completed 8N08 excercise 4 and can't wait to get onto #5. wow this is such great fun! I played with the image generatos and had a hard time figuring out which ones to pick so just went with one so I could get back to my jobs at hand! webjunction was not that easy to use. I think their interface could be much better, had difficulty using the sitemap address that was provided to us. I didn't really like rollyo either-there just seems to be so much out there and when you are used to doing it a certain way, I know I always go back to what I know,although always good to keep up on the new. I did check out hotels & travel but it directed me to a site I would have already gone directly to. Pandora was cool to check out, but I would never use it for myself.

Checked out RA sites most of which I have looked at before. All good to know and use as a librarian, I don't get asked many RA questions often at all out at Buckeye so I always need to keep up for myself anyway-I used RA everyday as Outreach-what a difference!

I went on to Amazon-because it is one of my favorite websites! I stuck with my theme of travel and Italy and checked out the tags on some books with information on travel in Italy with kids and also small towns. We don't want to spend our entire vacation sight seeing, we want to relax and enjoy the small towns in the country side....wish I was there now!!!
